UN Biodiversity Conference (COP 15) (Part 1)

Despite on-going efforts, biodiversity is deteriorating worldwide and this decline is projected to worsen with business-as- usual scenarios. The UN Biodiversity Conference will convene governments from around the world to agree a new set of goals for nature over the next decade through the Convention on Biological Diversity post 2020 framework process.

The conference will consist of two parts. The first is going to be the conducted online on 11-15 October 2021, and the second is going to take place between 25 April - 8 May 2022 in Kunming, China.
